ART CREATIONS

OBSERVATIONS

I've been creating all my life, but it was MOTHERHOOD that unlocked a new dimension of my creativity. It sparked a desire to make art not only as a way to engage my children in sensory activities but also as a fresh form of self-expression.

In the top left corner, you'll see a 4x4 collage I crafted by cutting and arranging strips from magazines. This piece greets me every day at the top of my stairs, and I adore everything about it. There are also some examples of projects I made with the kids, as well as DIY projects to make our rental nicer without damaging anything - a painting made completely with artist tape, and stairs upgraded with a peel and stick step risers!

As a creative person, I find myself constantly attuned to the beauty that surrounds me. Whether it's the cracks of dry land, the stillness of living creatures on leaves, or even the stain of oil on the ground that resembles a heart, I often pause to take it all in. Sometimes, the moment is so striking that I stop whatever I'm doing to capture it in a photograph. These snapshots become reminders of the extraordinary in the ordinary, fueling my inspiration and deepening my appreciation for the world around me.
